Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Test Engineer for an advanced nuclear technology company building a new test facility, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in hands-on testing of pressurized, safety-critical systems looking to further their career in nuclear and advanced energy.
Design, modify, and execute test plans and experimental setups, including approvals and documentation
Translate engineering requirements into actionable tests and collect data to support engineering decisions
Lead test design reviews and partner with engineering, suppliers, and EHS to equip and operate the facility
Execute testing safely, repeatably, and in compliance with quality standards; maintain test equipment and fixtures
Essential Qualifications
3+ years of industry testing experience (level based on tenure); must have served as lead investigator or technical lead on test programs
Hands-on experience with pressurized systems, pressure vessels, piping, instrumentation, and data acquisition; QA and regulated-industry experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering
Nuclear industry test experience or navy nuclear background
Automated data collection and analysis experience
