Our client designs and manufacture proprietary propellant and high-pressure tanks for satellites, launch vehicles, spacecraft, and missile platforms. Our flight-critical tank assemblies support major space and defense primes, and we run qualification and acceptance testing in-house. Part of a Aerospace, Space, and Defense-focused group with sites across the US that supplies leading aerospace OEMs and the U.S. Government. That gives us the agility of a focused engineering shop with the stability of a larger organization.

Job Details:
You'll support qualification and acceptance testing of spacecraft propellant and pressurant tanks, including hydrostatic proof pressure, helium leak, static load, expulsion and flow, pressure differential, vacuum, vibration, and thermal testing. You'll report to the engineering manager and work closely with the test supervisor.
Design test setups and fixtures and write test procedures for new development and qualification programs
Provide engineering oversight on critical tests and hands-on technical support to test technicians and vendors
Review and analyze test data against requirements and past in-family performance, flag anomalies, and produce clear plots, charts, and test reports
Support Quality on test nonconformances using RCCA, with rework and repair recommendations to Engineering
Serve as technical liaison to program management and customers, and drive process improvements in-house and at suppliers
Looking for:
Test engineering experience with pressure, leak, flow, vibration, or thermal testing focus
Senior through lead level considered (roughly 3–15 years)
Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:
Hydraulic and pneumatic pressure testing / hydrostatic proof testing
Helium leak testing
Flow and expulsion testing
Vibration and thermal / thermal vacuum testing
Instrumentation (pressure, flow, force, strain, temperature) and data acquisition
Test fixture design in CAD (PTC Creo preferred)
Engineering drawings and GD&T
Technical writing for procedures, specifications, and test reports
Aerospace, spacecraft, or pressure vessel hardware
