Experience level Must and Haves
Deep knowledge of JMeter and k6
K6 (1st priority) and JMeter (2nd)
K6 2 to 5 years of experience
Experience testing APIs (All API Architecture) and web applications
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications (EKS etc)
Total - Min 5 -12 Years of overall experience.
Build and maintain performance test scripts in JMeter (2nd) and k6 (1st priority)
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (Any cloud would work)

Screening Questions:
1) How would you model production traffic for a performance test?
Follow-up probe:
How would you derive the traffic mix from production data?
2) How do you approach a performance test from requirements through reporting?

What would you do if the requirements were vague or incomplete?
3) You need to submit 1,000 requests per minute for 45 minutes. How would you configure and validate that in k6?

How would your answer change if each iteration sent 5 HTTP requests?
4) Which performance metrics would you review, and what do they tell you?

Why are percentiles more useful than averages?
5) A test s latency rises sharply while the error rate remains low. How would you investigate?

Description: A Performance Test engineer with
Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and k6
Ability to design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests
Strong analysis skills to interpret results and recommend fixes
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain performance test scripts in JMeter (2nd) and k6 (1st priority)
Run load, stress, soak, spike, and endurance tests
Test applications, APIs, and backend services
Analyze response times, throughput, error rates, CPU, memory, and other metrics
Identify performance bottlenecks and work with teams to troubleshoot
Define performance goals and success criteria
Create performance test reports
Support benchmarking and capacity planning
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
Requirements:

Strong experience in performance testing
Deep knowledge of JMeter and k6
JMeter (2nd) and k6 (1st priority)
K6 3 to 5 years of experience
Experience testing APIs (All API Architecture ) and web applications
Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, cookies, sessions, headers, and authentication
Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and monitoring data
Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Groovy, or Python
Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Strong communication and analytical skills
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (Any cloud would work)
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications (EKS etc)
Total - Min 5 -12 Years of overall experience.
Added bonus if you have (Preferred): Experience writing code using Java or Python
