    Job Overview:

    The Test Engineer I defines and conducts tests on compressors, vacuum pumps, and other kinds of flow control products, and assists Product engineers in troubleshooting and data analysis. This role ensures that all testing adheres to prescribed requirements and quality standards, as a key player in product development. To support engineering projects by owning the performance tests and validations, ensuring high-quality and reliable product performance for compressors and vacuum pumps.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all lab activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
    • Creation Tests and Validation Plans to serve compressor and vacuum pump development projects
    • Conduct and report laboratory tests according to prescribed testing requirements and protocols
    • Collaborate with engineers to identify appropriate testing methods and troubleshoot product or process issues
    • Summarize and report test results, including technical report writing and data analysis
    • Support troubleshooting activities in complex electromechanical tests

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Similar)
    • 1+ years of experience in a laboratory or technical testing environment in manufacturing or engineering
    • 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and testing activities in laboratory or manufacturing settings

    Preferences:

    • Labview programming skills and DAQ hardware setup
    • Able to design automated test systems
    • Strong technical and mathematical skills
    • Excellent electrical and mechanical native skills with the ability to solve technical problems
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
    • Working experience in Fluid Power (Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electromechanical Systems)
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to direct and work effectively

    Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

    • Willingness and availability to travel up to 10% of the time (e.g., customer visits, training at our technical centers, trade shows, etc.). This position may require additional travel during the first year.
