deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.Position Description:The selected Software Test Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Test Team for the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.Experience Requirements:2 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; Not to exceed 5 years of experienceExperience as a software tester and integrator; including working test plans, procedures, or test executionUnderstanding of systems integration of system components within an integrated test environmentKnowledge of requirements development and collaborationExperience with Object-Oriented development languages such as C++, Python, Ada, JAVA, Mongo, HTMLKnowledge of Python and automation scriptingFamiliarity with configuration management tools: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, and othersExperience using GitHub (repositories, branches, commits, pull requests), Bitbucket, Version Control, Repository management, and Data/Configuration management.Experience with Agile and automated test toolsMust be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full-timeSpecial Skills Desired:Current/Active Top Secret ClearanceUnderstanding of containerized virtual environmentsFamiliarity with Linux, Bash, SQL, MatlabEggplant test automation tool experienceUnderstanding of root cause analysis and analyzing large data log filesApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
