Position Overview:
As a Test Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of complex systems by designing, developing, and executing rigorous test strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and quality assurance, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed test plans, procedures, and strategies for system verification.
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to ensure efficient testing processes.
- Analyze and report on test results, identifying and troubleshooting any issues or defects.
- Work with hardware and software engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize product design.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, company protocols, and best practices in testing and validation.
- Provide support for root cause analysis of issues found during testing and work on implementing corrective actions.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and stay updated on the latest testing technologies and trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in system or product testing, preferably in an industrial or high-tech environment.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and stress testing.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze test results effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with embedded systems testing.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for test automation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
