Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Burn-In Testing and Hi-Pot Testing, the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot issues, and effectively schedule and plan testing activities. A strong understanding of test software, GUIs, procedures, and proficiency with computers is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Burn-In Testing and Hi-Pot Testing on various products to ensure reliability and safety standards are met.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to understand product designs and identify testing requirements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing, providing solutions to resolve any problems encountered.
- Develop and maintain testing schedules, ensuring all tests are planned and executed efficiently.
- Utilize test software and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to set up and run tests, analyze data, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain and update testing procedures and documentation to reflect changes in products and testing methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during all testing activities.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with Burn-In Testing and Hi-Pot Testing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience in scheduling and planning testing activities.
- Proficient in using test software, GUIs, and other related tools.
- Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with data analysis software and tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all testing procedures.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
