Leidos is seeking a talented and experienced Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Scott AFB. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with expert professionals to deliver verified, reliable software solutions that support our nation's security.     What You'll Bring:
    • 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance
    • Proven expertise in Agile Scrum development and test practices
    • Strong ability to analyze capability requirements and translate them into detailed test cases
    • Experience creating automation tests, particularly utilizing ServiceNow’s Automation Test Framework (ATFs)
    • Proficiency with test management tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence
    • Skilled in developing test plans, data, and defining acceptance criteria
    • Familiarity with software configuration management and validation traceability
    • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior testers
    • Active DoD Secret clearance and US Citizenship
    • Security certification meeting DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (e.g., Security+)
    • Willingness to support on-site work at Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, or Ogden, UT

    Nice to Have:
    • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Discovery, Event Management, Business Rules, Service Mapping, and Orchestration
    • Knowledge of code analysis, troubleshooting technical issues, and system deficiency identification
    • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and certifications
    • AWS cloud certifications
    • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD tools, and source control platforms
    • Understanding of Agile development beyond basic methodologies

    Preferred Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree plus 8-12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree with 6-10 years of related work
    • Additional professional experience can be substituted for formal education

    Other Requirements:
    • Must support full-time on-site operations at designated locations
    • Willingness to assist and train junior team members
    • Ability to manage test data and support UAT activities
