The Test Engineer will play a key role in executing automation and manual testing activities, validating vendor testing deliverables, and ensuring quality across enterprise applications.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

The Test Engineer will be responsible for:

• Support testing activities for ongoing BAU initiatives and project enhancements.
• Review vendor test activities, test plans, and testing deliverables.
• Facilitate automation testing using Tricentis Tosca with DEX environment.
• Create, update, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and testing frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support defect management activities, including defect triaging, tracking, and reporting.
• Create and review functional test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Leverage AI-driven testing tools for test case generation, test optimization, and defect prediction.
• Support testing of AI/ML models, including output validation and data quality verification.
• Collaborate on Technical Requirements Documents and testing documentation.
• Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Assist with stakeholder communication and testing status updates.
• Prepare weekly status reports, meeting agendas, presentations, and meeting minutes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or QA Engineer.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Hands-on experience with Tosca TestCase Design (TCD) approach.
• Extensive experience performing integration testing, including API testing.
• Strong experience with defect management, tracking, and reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database validation and testing.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including:
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
  • SQL Server
  • MongoDB
• Experience with performance testing tools such as:
  • JMeter
  • LoadRunner
  • Gatling
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.
• Experience with API testing tools such as:
  • Postman
  • SoapUI
  • RestAssured
  • Karate
• Knowledge of web technologies:
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • DOM
• Experience using browser developer tools for debugging and web element inspection.
• SAP S/4HANA testing experience preferred, especially:
  • SAP IS-U (Utilities)
  • SAP FICO
  • SAP MM
  • SAP SD
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks is a plus:
  • Appium
  • Espresso
  • XCUITest
  • Robot Framework
• Understanding of mobile platforms:
  • iOS
  • Android
• Programming experience in one or more automation languages preferred:
  • Java
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • C#
  • Ruby
  • VBScript
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience.
• Testing certifications preferred:
