Title: Test Data Management and Infrastructure Engineer
Locations: Charlotte/ Atlanta/ Raleigh only!
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $44 - $48/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Test Data Management and Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience in Delphix, on-prem infrastructure maintenance, cloud VM provisioning, DevOps automation, and virtualization technologies. The candidate will manage test data environments, support Windows, AIX, and Linux servers, and build automation workflows using Terraform, GitLab TruPipeline, and Ansible.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Test Data Management using Delphix.
- Experience in infrastructure maintenance for Windows, AIX, and Linux servers.
- Working knowledge of AWS and Azure VM provisioning and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience in building and maintaining GitLab TruPipeline / GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Ansible automation for server and application infrastructure tasks.
- Good understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESXi and Nutanix AHV.
- Experience in server patching, monitoring, backup coordination, access management, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, storage, compute, security groups, IAM, and resource management.
- Ability to work in hybrid infrastructure environments involving on-prem and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Good scripting knowledge in Shell, PowerShell, or Python is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with additional automation tools and technologies.
- Advanced certifications in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience in financial services or banking industry.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and support Test Data Management activities using Delphix, including data virtualization, masking, refresh, and provisioning of test data environments.
- Maintain and support on-prem infrastructure across Windows, AIX, and Linux servers.
- Build and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform for cloud and on-prem provisioning.
- Provision, configure, and maintain AWS and Azure virtual machines as per project and application requirements.
- Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab TruPipeline.
- Support virtualization platforms including Client ESXi and Nutanix AHV.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, automation, pipeline, cloud provisioning, and Delphix-related issues.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and environment optimization.
- Participate in change management, release support, production readiness, and operational review activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, automation scripts, and deployment procedures.
- Ensure infrastructure and test data environments comply with security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with application, database, cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for environment readiness and issue resolution.
- Use Ansible for automation of infrastructure tasks, configuration management, deployments, and operational activities.
- Perform server administration activities including patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity management, and incident resolution.
