Seeking a hands-on Test Architect to own the end-to-end test strategy for an aircraft onboard edge-computing platform spanning hardware, embedded software, connectivity, AI/ML, platform services, and multi-tenant applications. This role combines test architecture, technical leadership, automation development, CI/CD, and system-level testing. Ideal candidate has experience with complex distributed/platform systems and can both define strategy and write automation code
Own and evolve the overall Test Strategy and Test Architecture.
Define functional, integration, system, E2E, performance, security, connectivity, and regression testing approaches.
Lead and mentor cross-functional test engineers.
Design test environments, labs, simulators, and network emulation strategies.
Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Java, or similar.
Develop automated API, integration, regression, and performance tests.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release gates.
Test multi-tenant systems, resource contention
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software, systems, embedded, or platform testing.
2–3+ years of experience as a Test Architect, Principal Test Engineer, Lead, or similar role.
Aerospace, avionics, automotive, defense, or regulated-industry experience is a plus.
Knowledge of DO-178C, DO-160, AI/ML testing, or edge computing is highly preferred
