Overview:
The RFID Lab at Auburn University is looking for motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented employee from various disciplines to perform RFID in-store testing and audits. This position will primarily involve fieldwork at partner locations. Fieldwork includes activities such as: RFID tag audits, barcode audits, RFID cycle count
Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:
* Perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments.
* RFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with a RFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags.
* Perform in-store barcode/inventory audits.
* May occasionally participate in in-lab demonstrations and testing
- Perform data collection and data analysis to investigate the performance of large scale RFID deployments. - Operate, maintain and trouble-shoot RF test equipment.
* Occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Auburn area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Preferred experience with RF equipment
- Preferred experience in a retail environment
Pay Range:
USD $18.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.A
