    • Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service BIOTRONIK products and offerings to existing and competitive customers.
    • Support patients throughout the educational and clinical process for spinal cord stimulation therapy.
    • Provide support and technical assistance during the use of BIOTRONIK products during procedures.
    • Develop and implement quarterly sales plan and business reviews to achieve sales goals and objectives, while maintaining forward thinking strategies as protection for market shifts for sustained territory performance.
    • Compelled to be a subject matter expert with regards to BIOTRONIK products and platforms, while adapting to changes in the clinical and competitive landscape.
    • Builds relationships with key stakeholders (physicians, hospital administrators, Allied Healthcare Professionals, etc) within assigned territory to identify opportunities to promote BIOTRONIK products and services.
    • Complete administrative reporting as assigned (for example: expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, competitive updates, and inventory log).
    • Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution, and pricing, as well as input on customer preferences and product features.
    • Manage time and company resources in an effective way to control unnecessary expenses/assets.
    • Effectively utilize sales collateral and sales support tools to support promotional and territorial needs.
    • Train and educate both existing and new customers on the availability and use of BIOTRONIK’s product portfolio.
    • Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned BIOTRONIK asset management, including inventory and capital equipment.


    Required profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, Bioengineering, Business, or a related field; alternatively, 4 years of relevant experience.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical devices or biotechnology.
    • Experience in interventional pain/spine sales and neuromodulation within pain management preferred.
    • Demonstrated success leading regional projects and achieving sales targets; sales award recognition is a plus.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external customers.
    • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills in diverse team environments.
    • Knowledge of the implantable medical device market and direct quota attainment.
    • Comfortable interacting with patients and conducting high-volume referral outreach.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and able to quickly adopt business platforms such as Salesforce and Smartsheet.
    • Must meet all facility credentialing requirements and comply with FDA regulations, company policies, procedures, and compliance training.
    • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
    • Ability to work effectively across a geographically diverse territory.

    Physical Demands

    • Frequently move up to 40 lbs. from floor to chair/table and from one to another surface at approximately the same level.
    • Constantly operates a computer, mobile device and other office-productivity equipment
    • Frequent bending, squatting and balance activities.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
    • Constantly required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers, co-workers, healthcare providers and patients in order to exchange accurate information.
    • Must be able to visually examine anatomical structures via radiographic imaging.
    • Must be able to abide by medical facility mandated PPE requirements due to environmental exposures
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours total per day, and up to 4 hours continuously.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy.
    • Ability to conduct customer contact activities, which require travel within assigned territory >80% of the time
    • Ability to travel outside of territory <20% of the time, with occasional overnight travel required
    • Frequently provide 24-hour, 7 day a week on-call territory coverage (including holidays, weekends, evenings).
    • Available and willing to work and/or travel weekends and evenings to include calls outside of standard working hours.

    BIOTRONIK Neuro is looking to add a Territory Manager to our Neuromodulation Segment in Indianapolis, Indiana (also recruiting for additional locations, see website). As Territory Manager you will gain market share and achieve sales quota in the spinal cord stimulation business by promoting, selling, and servicing the Biotronik product platform within an assigned territory. The Territory Manager performs field promotional work to sell and develop new business; it may include work with established accounts, or with customers where product acceptance has not been established. Has the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in a dynamic sales environment. Able to work independently to exceed sales expectations, while implementing leadership contributions at the Regional level.
