Description
The Department of Economics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking to fill a one position at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor in the field of Economics of Health / Health Economics. This position is a 9-month full-time academic appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2027.
In addition to publishing in leading journals, the successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise graduate students as well as participate in the applied microeconomics workshop, serve on an appropriate department committee, and be involved as a member of Ph.D. dissertation committees. All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.
Qualifications
This position requires a Ph.D. in economics or a related field.
