    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Clerical experience preferred,

    Tennis background preferred

    PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY:

    Provides front desk reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the North East Independent School District (NEISD) Tennis Center.

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Assigned as needed in the following area(s):

    a. Greets visitors

    b. Provides information to callers and visitors as needed

    c. Receives incoming calls and takes reliable messages

    d. Handles tennis court fees

    e. Operates cash register and computer

    f. Facilitates leagues and manages court reservations

    g. Creates/sends emails as needed

    h. Updates website/calendars, and inputs schedules

    i. Ensures Pro Shop and lobby areas are kept clean and organized

    j. Maintains confidentiality of information

    k. Performs all other tasks and duties assigned

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
    • Ability to work with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
    • Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers
    • Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions
    • Ability to perform responsibilities without the necessity of close supervision
    • Ability to effectively communicate with the School District community
    • Ability to meet attendance standards and work the hours necessary to perform the essential functions
    • Maintain a generally positive attitude
    • Observe all District policies and procedures
