Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Goleta CA.As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you willJob DescriptionThe Shipping and Receiving Clerk supports warehouse operations by managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.Day to Day Responsibilities Generate accurate labels and package identification for FedEx and UPS Receive incoming shipments of products and organize them onto shelves in the warehouse Verify the correctness of packing slips and record against RAs Deliver shipments to appropriate departments andor individual Assist in inventory counts and confirm accuracy of the count Building skids when necessary to ship large freight Assist in packaging products to outside processes or customers Check PO s against packing slips Complete & match move tickets check lot & batch with shipping log Complete daily priority projects and tasksThis is a full-time opportunity.Required Skills Minimum 1 year of shipping receiving warehouse or inventory experience. Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal. Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator. Experience using electronic weigh scales and heat sealers. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with shipping documentation. Ability to lift and move materials as required.
