RESPONSIBILITES: Responsible for daily noting of mileage and vehicle conditions in vehicle log and related registers as required by N.Y.S.D.O.T; Responsible for proper care and operation of vehicle, and reporting of issues to Warehouse management; Primary responsibility for delivering and picking up barrels and other supportive materials to businesses, non-profits, community centers, private residences, and various other locations as scheduled in cooperation with the Warehouse and Development teams; Supports and is backup for Warehouse Assistants and assists with overall warehouse maintenance as barrel schedule and other driving tasks allow; Assists warehouse management in special projects as may be needed and requested; Ensure excellent communication and customer service with internal and external customers and all in all interactions; Assist with any and all mission work as needed and requested with some or no prior notice including, but not limited to: serving as a truck spotter, helping with Farm Market/Community Garden/Freight Farms/on and off-site food distributions, preparation of meals and serving home-delivered meals; and.
