Job Summary

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse populations.

The Department of Counselor Education and Student Affairs at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple temporary, part-time faculty positions to begin Fall 2026. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An earned Masters in Counseling or a related field, counseling and/or clinical experience and/or teaching experience in higher education, and completion of an interview
  • Candidate must have the ability to teach the CACREP common core curricular area and have a clear identity as a professional counselor

Preferred Qualifications

  • An earned Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited counselor education program
