Temporary Parks Program Assistant
DUTIES: Work related to a recreation community center which includes:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The incumbent is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a typical office environment. May be exposed to customers, contractors, and vendors/suppliers who may possibly be irate or hostile. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Temporary employees with the City of Kent do not receive insurance or time off benefits outside of those which are legally mandated. In certain instances, temporary employees may be eligible for retirement benefits through the State of Washingtons Department of Retirement Systems.
