Rockhurst University is currently accepting applications for a temporary part-time Mental Health Counselor for the Fall 2026 semester in the Counseling Center, a wellness-affirming and collaborative setting housed in the Student Development Department of the University.

Purpose Summary: The Counseling Center helps fulfill the University's value of cura personalis - care for the whole person, mind, body, and spirit - by providing compassionate, competent, and culturally aware mental health services to our students, and outreach to the campus community. This role will fill a temporary vacancy and as such is pivotal in meeting the mental health needs of our students through direct clinical service and outreach/education; and assisting in the support and professional formation of trainee clinicians (as appropriate).

Compensation:
Hourly pay rate begins at $30/hour and is determined based on experience and licensure status. There are no benefits associated with this position.
Time Frame:
This position is budgeted for 25-28 hours per week from approximately September 1 - December 15, 2026.
