Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Managers to support a large financial services organizations Wealth Management audit function. These professionals will be responsible for leading and executing risk-based audits from planning through reporting while partnering with stakeholders across the business to evaluate risk management practices and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end internal audit engagements within Wealth Management businesses.
  • Develop audit scopes, conduct walkthroughs, identify key risks and controls, perform testing, and document results.
  • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls related to Wealth Management activities.
  • Identify control deficiencies, develop audit findings, and prepare clear and concise audit reports.
  • Manage audit projects, including planning, fieldwork execution, issue development, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and control partners throughout the audit lifecycle.
  • Ensure audits are executed in accordance with internal audit standards and established methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Controls, Compliance, or a related function.
  • Strong experience managing and executing audits from planning through reporting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in audit scoping, walkthroughs, control identification, testing, issue development, and reporting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Wealth Management audit experience or strong knowledge of Wealth Management business activities and associated risks and controls.

  • Experience covering one or more of the following:

  • Brokerage and investment advisory activities

  • Private banking

  • Trust and fiduciary services

  • Regulatory requirements impacting Wealth Management businesses

  • Experience within large banking or financial services organizations.
