8am - 5pm Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary
Pay Rate $27.68 hourly Minimum Experience/Education
Master's Degree with major emphasis on coursework in higher education administration, student personnel services, counseling or other related field

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership and coordination for one cohort based leadership program offered by Leadership & Community Engagement
Plan all aspects of Leadership program including marketing, recruitment, transportation lodging, and meals
Manage records as required by organization and University policies and procedures
Implement event contracting processes in an accurate and timely manner
Effectively use assessment to evaluate program
Provide academic instruction for for Comm 3135/3136 credit bearing academic course:
Develop and implement curriculum including syllabus, course materials, and individual class lesson plans
Facilitate class sessions
Evaluate student performance
Follow all University and department policies and procedures regarding academic class administration
Effectively serve and represent unit, department, and division on initiatives, committees, and at University functions
Provide support and leadership for departmental, divisional initiatives, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Leadership & Community Engagement Office

However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan and will be notified of instructions.
