Job Title: Journeyman Electrician (Temporary)
Location: Bluffdale, UT
Duration: Temporary for 1-4 weeks
Pay Range: $40-43/hr.
Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed electrician for a short-term electrical project in preparation for the installation of a new piece of machinery scheduled for September 23.
The electrician will be responsible for running conduit and the necessary electrical service from an existing breaker/panel to the location where the new machine will be installed. The goal is to have the electrical connection prepared and ready for the equipment installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Run conduit from the existing breaker/electrical panel to the designated machine location.
- Install and route the necessary electrical wiring/service for the new equipment.
- Review the installation location and determine the appropriate conduit routing and electrical requirements.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable NEC requirements and local electrical codes.
- Verify the electrical service is properly installed and ready for connection to the new machine.
- Coordinate with Sidewinders regarding machine placement and installation requirements.
- Follow all facility safety procedures and required PPE while performing the work.
Qualifications
- Current electrician license required.
- Experience performing commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Experience running conduit and providing electrical service for industrial machinery or equipment strongly preferred.
- Ability to safely work with electrical panels, breakers, conduit, and associated wiring.
- Knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical safety requirements.
- Must have the appropriate tools and equipment necessary to complete the work.
