Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Provides operational support and guidance and recommends solutions to management and associates across employment relations and performance management. This includes, but is not limited to, policy interpretation, counseling, corrective actions, conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and other associate-related matters for assigned districts and/or departments. Serves as the point of contact and expert on GWH policies, employment laws and regulations, and HR best practices to enhance the employment experience and mitigate risk. Builds and maintains a business partnership with GWH Leadership.

Advises management on associates' performance management measures (coaching, counseling, career development, correct actions, etc.). Provides day-to-day coaching to management and leadership on various employee relations issues. Responds to, investigates (as needed), and helps resolve Team Member issues in the best interest of the Team Member and GWH. Manages complex and delicate employment relations issues, striving for conflict resolution. Receives and oversees all personnel actions and performance reviews in line with processing payroll. Partners with Leaders to ensure the alignment of the HR strategy with the overall business strategy. Analyzes trends and metrics with the HR Team to develop solutions, policies, and programs. Oversees Unemployment Benefit activity for the assigned area(s) and manages the claims. Demonstrates, leads, and participates in positive cultural development and engagement for GWH. Provides guidance to Leadership with assessment, performance management, and career and succession planning for their subordinates. Coordinates with Donated Goods Retail (DGR) and Workforce Development (WFD) for training and/or life needs for Team Members. Assists with training assessment and delivery. Maintains, distributes, and assists in changes to HR policies, procedures, etc. Participates in recruitment campaigns and new hire Orientation to ensure a robust candidate pipeline. Provides routine statistics, analysis, and reports as requested. Must have reliable transportation to travel to work locations. Must be able to work a rotational schedule as an on-call HR support team member. Performs other duties as directed by management to support evolving organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A minimum of three (3) years of experience is preferred. Excellent computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office). Experience with HRIS Systems is preferred. Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types. Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong collaborative and presentation skills Ability to work at all levels within the organization Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for current or future employment.
