Temporary Human Resources Assistant - Bilingual

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a BILINGUAL Human Resources Assistant to join a manufacturing client. This role is essential in supporting a broad range of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates through various HR systems and conducting initial screenings

• Support new employee orientation programs to ensure smooth onboarding experiences

• Maintain accurate personnel records and update HR databases

• Coordinate employee evaluations, performance management activities, and succession planning initiatives

• Administer employee benefits programs and handle inquiries related to benefits and policies

• Ensure compliance with employment laws, including FMLA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning

• Support training & development initiatives by organizing sessions and tracking participation

• Assist with payroll reporting each week

Requirements

• Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles, with a strong understanding of employment law in talent management

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish; excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages

• Knowledge of HR systems including Workday, or similar platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis

• Understanding of benefits administration, payroll processing, personnel administration, and regulatory compliance requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills combined with effective conflict management abilities
