Job Summary
The Department of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Research Technician for a Temporary Hourly Full-Time position.
In this role, you will work closely with Dr. Valentin Yakubenko (faculty webpage), contributing to innovative biomedical research and supporting the laboratory's ongoing research activities. You will become part of a research team investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying inflammatory diseases, including sepsis and atherosclerosis. The research utilizes a variety of molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemical techniques, as well as mouse models of inflammatory diseases. This position involves performing a range of technical duties related to laboratory experiments, standardized assays, data collection, and general research support.
