Legal Conflicts Specialist-Long Term Contract Role

Location: 100% remote but MUST RESIDE IN Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, CA, or Washington DC(Maryland/Virginia)

Job Type: Full-Time Hours, Contract Role Only

Pay Rate: $38-45 hourly DOE Benefits may include Paid Time Off, Sick Leave, Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, and 401(k).

LHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conflicts Specialist to support a well-established litigation defense firm with overflow work. This is a long term (5months) contract opportunity for a professional with at least 3+ years of researching potential clients and related entities; managing existing conflicts database; draft and implement information to ensure compliance; answer conflicts-related questions internally. This role is principally focused on the day-to-day processing of various types of conflict checks (new clients, new matters, pitches, etc.), to ensure that requests are being handled properly and with prompt turn-around time and clear communication.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Must have recent experience with managing Intapp conflict check queue and email requests.

  • Provide comprehensive, detailed orientated, and precise support to attorneys.

  • Analyze complex conflicts across a broad range of practice areas

  • Conduct corporate research for potential issues and support clearance decisions

  • Manage all conflict request and meeting deadlines using firm software

  • Track, monitor, and update ongoing conflict matters, working closely with attorneys and staff

  • Perform additional administrative duties if needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of law firm experience, specifically supporting defense-plaintiff side practices.

  • Hands-on experience with conflict matters and using Intapp.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent proofreading and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and support multiple attorneys.
