POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for developing, managing, analyzing, and supporting business intelligence, reporting, analytics, SharePoint administration, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. Serves as the primary subject matter expert for organizational reporting, dashboards, analytics, and business intelligence solutions. Creates and maintains dashboards, reporting tools, data visualizations, and business solutions that provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
Partners with business leaders, system owners, technology teams, and key stakeholders to understand changing business needs, analyze data, improve reporting capabilities, identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies, and develop solutions that support organizational objectives. Plays a key role in supporting strategic and operational decisions through trend analysis, statistical modeling, operational research, data governance, performance measurement, workflow optimization, and the delivery of accurate, timely, and meaningful information to support organizational goals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business intelligence solutions to support organizational decision-making.
Create, manage, and distribute standard, recurring, ad hoc, and executive-level reports based on business needs.
Utilize tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, reporting platforms, and enterprise systems to develop data-driven solutions and improve accessibility of information.
Administer and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, document libraries, collaboration tools, and content management processes.
Partner with business units and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, analyze needs, and develop solutions that support operational effectiveness.
Analyze data trends, performance metrics, and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and increased efficiency.
Extract, validate, interpret, and analyze data from multiple systems to support operational reporting, forecasting, planning, and business initiatives.
Develop formal reports, presentations, executive summaries, and data visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Establish and maintain reporting standards, data integrity practices, documentation, and governance processes.
Collaborate with technology teams, data professionals, and business partners to enhance reporting capabilities, troubleshoot system issues, and improve data availability.
Facilitate discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs) to evaluate current processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
Apply process improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Support strategic initiatives, special projects, operational reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
Perform statistical analysis, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
Maintain confidentiality and appropriate controls when handling sensitive business information.
Provide leadership and example in meeting JEA's safety and wellness goals.

Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, data analytics, information systems, statistics, or related discipline
AND
Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in analytics, reporting, or data analysis
OR
An equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
License/Certifications/Registrations:
A valid driver's license is required prior to employment and must be maintained during employment in this classification.
The minimum salary for this position is $76,500 annually. Compensation will be determined based on education, licenses, certifications, skills, experience, and alignment with salaries for similar roles within the organization.
