Job Summary
We are seeking an temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team to cover our associate who will out for maternity leave. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer payments. Your duties will include reviewing account information and correcting errors, creating invoices, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong mathematical skills and a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Processing and accurately recording transactions
- Maintaining detailed records of payments and account statuses
- Sending reminders regarding overdue payments
- Researching any account discrepancies and taking appropriate action for resolution
- Creating accurate and informative reports
- Collaborating with other departments to gather additional information, ensure accounts are up-to-date, and develop repayment plans
- Communicating with clients regarding the payments on their accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar position
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and research skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
Our Company
Southern California Air Conditioning Supply Co was started in April 1974 by Len Blottin and Dave Dennison. The first year we sold only regs, grills and rotary vents. By the second year we added metal duct and fittings an have kept on growing from there. Buy May of 1976 we out grew our 1'st location and moved to 683 Vernon way in El Cajon. On April of 2003 Dave Dennison sold his 50% of So Cal to the employees through an ESOP. On April 1 2006 we moved to our present at 1000 N. Jonhnson ave in El Cajon. We have over 20,000 square feet under roof with lots of customer parking and room to grow.
