    Position Overview
    We are looking for a skilled Temperature Control Systems Specialist to join our team!     Key Responsibilities

    Programming & System Development

    • Design, test, and implement control systems for temperature regulation, including Building Automation Systems (BAS), PLCs, and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
    • Integrate temperature control equipment (e.g., thermostats, HVAC units, dampers) into centralized systems for seamless control.
    • Create and fine-tune control algorithms to optimize system performance and boost energy efficiency.

    System Monitoring & Troubleshooting

    • Identify and resolve programming or system-related issues to ensure smooth operation.
    • Conduct system audits and review data logs to make adjustments and improve system performance.
    • Troubleshoot and improve existing control systems for better reliability and efficiency.

    Compliance & Safety

    • Ensure temperature control systems comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and energy efficiency guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of programming logic, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
    • Assist facility teams in enforcing safety protocols related to temperature control systems.

    Collaboration & Training

    • Collaborate with engineers, HVAC specialists, and automation teams to ensure optimal system integration.
    • Provide training and technical support to maintenance teams for smooth system operation and troubleshooting.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend improvements to existing systems.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience with temperature control programming, HVAC automation, or building automation systems.
    • Experience in industrial, commercial, or mechanical environments preferred.

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or BACnet protocols.
    • Hands-on experience with PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
    • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sensor calibration, and feedback loops.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.

    Soft Skills

    • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
    • Effective communicator and team player.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to work in diverse environments (industrial, commercial, or mechanical).
    • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions (heights, confined spaces, varying temperatures).

    Preferred Certifications

    • Certified Building Automation Specialist (CBAS) or equivalent.
    • HVAC Technician Certifications (EPA 608, NATE).
    • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
    • Niagara N4 Certification.
