Penmac Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 3 to 4 weeks while a current employee is on leave. This is a great opportunity for candidates with warehouse, manufacturing, or forklift experience who are looking to gain additional experience in a fast-paced industrial environment. This Warehouse Associate position will include training on a stand-up reach forklift and offers hands-on experience supporting warehouse operations during an overnight shift.RequirementsTo be considered for this Warehouse Associate position, candidates should:
- Have previous warehouse experience
- Have previous manufacturing or forklift experience preferred
- Be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Be flexible to work overtime and weekends when needed
- Be willing to wear a respirator while working in certain areas
- Have reliable attendance and strong work habits
- Be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check
ResponsibilitiesAs a Warehouse Associate, you will support daily warehouse operations and material movement activities. Responsibilities may include:
- Training to operate a stand-up reach forklift safely and efficiently
- Moving materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Loading and unloading products and materials
- Assisting with inventory movement and storage
- Maintaining organized work areas and staging locations
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
- Wearing required personal protective equipment, including a respirator when necessary
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned
Schedule and Pay
- Temporary Assignment (approximately 3-4 weeks)
- 3rd Shift
- Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs
- Pay: $19.80 per hour
