About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Turn Maintenance Technician to assist with unit turns and general maintenance during the turnover season from July 8, 2026 - August 15, 2026. This position is responsible for preparing units for incoming residents by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs and inspections. The role is fast-paced and ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and thrives in a team environment.
MUST HAVE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK WEEKENDS AND/OR EXTENDED HOURS.
What you'll do
- Perform unit turns including basic repairs and general maintenance
- Inspect and ensure units are ready for move-in according to company standards
- Assist with furniture assembly, appliance installation, and light plumbing/electrical repairs
- Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate with the maintenance supervisor or team lead about needed supplies or issues
- Support teams as needed during turnover
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents or staff
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
- Basic knowledge of tools, maintenance equipment, and safety procedures
