Temp / Seasonal Painter

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for someone with at least 2 years of Residential Painting experience who is looking to take on some work with a local residential painting contractor here in Portland, Oregon! Job

• Location: Portland Metro Area (PDX and surrounding areas)

• Compensation: $22–$25/hour, depending on experience

Job Description:
Seeking a reliable and experienced painter to assist with a variety of interior and exterior projects throughout the Portland metro area. This role involves hands-on work in all phases of residential painting, from surface preparation to final coat application.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough prep work including sanding, masking, caulking, patching, and priming

• Apply paint using brush and roller with clean, consistent results

• Assist with or perform spray painting when needed

• Maintain a clean and organized job site

• Follow project timelines and quality standards

• Communicate effectively with the contractor and team members

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of residential painting experience

• Proficiency with prep work, brush and roller techniques; spray experience is a plus

• Reliable transportation to travel to job sites throughout the PDX area

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Punctual, dependable, and professional
