What Youll Do
- Deliver high-quality care to adult patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting
- Monitor and respond to patient cardiac and physiological needs using telemetry equipment
- Manage insulin drips, beta-blocker drips, and sodium infusions, following protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress, nursing interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Provide patient education and support during recovery
- Adhere to safety standards and facility policies at all times
What You Need
Required:- Valid RN license in Vermont
- Minimum 2 years experience in Med Surg or Telemetry units
- Experience with insulin, emolol, and sodium drips
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to adaptive acuity unit requirements
Preferred:- Experience in charge nurse or leadership roles
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment
This assignment is at a modern, adaptive acuity unit that occasionally requires travel nurses to provide PCU care with a 3:1 patient ratio. The unit specializes in complex patient care, including drip management, and values skilled, adaptable nursing professionals.
