What Youll Do:- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical/telemetry units during overnight shifts
- Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs upon admission and develop comprehensive care plans within 24 hours
- Implement and adjust care plans, ensuring continuous evaluation of patient progress
- Educate patients and families about condition management and support independence
- Promote infection control policies and medication safety practices
- Document all actions and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient status with appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Participate in ongoing professional development and hospital committees to enhance patient outcomes
What You Need:- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Prior experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
