Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry Nights – Owosso, MI

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical/telemetry units during overnight shifts
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs upon admission and develop comprehensive care plans within 24 hours
  • Implement and adjust care plans, ensuring continuous evaluation of patient progress
  • Educate patients and families about condition management and support independence
  • Promote infection control policies and medication safety practices
  • Document all actions and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient status with appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and hospital committees to enhance patient outcomes

What You Need:
  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Prior experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to prioritize and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
