What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med Surg unit
- Monitor patient health status and record observations
- Administer medications and treatments accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately
What You Need
Required:- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1-year Med Surg experience
- Strong patient care skills and attention to detail
Preferred:- Experience working patient ratios of 1:6 or similar
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
About the Assignment
Join a dedicated team at a leading facility in Pittsfield, MA with a focus on patient-centered care. The unit typically has 20-34 beds, with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6, providing a dynamic environment for experienced Med Surg RNs. Standard personal scrubs are acceptable, and orientation is provided. Please note, holiday and overtime multipliers may apply.
