As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

Local Radius rule: No locals -- All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license)

If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR: EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ***/hr
• Charge/Precept: ***/hr

Billable OT:

Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)

RequirementDescription:

• 24 months minimum of previous Med Surg experience - [REQUIRED]
• Previous UPH FTE/PRN employees must be gone for at least 1 year to return as a traveler - [REQUIRED]
• Must be comfortable with neuro and surgical patients within the medical surgical unit - [REQUIRED]
• Must have successfully completed at least 1 travel contract - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• Active RN state license - [REQUIRED]
• EPIC experience- [REQUIRED]
• NIHSS - [REQUIRED]
• BLS - [REQUIRED]
