Springfield Hospital s Emergency Department, located at 25 Ridgewood Road in Springfield, VT, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Upon arrival, unless your condition requires being seen by a Doctor or Physician s Assistant immediately, you will be promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of your condition and the appropriate course of treatment.
Our Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital is fully staffed around the clock and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year.
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/DURING INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL TRAVELERS UPLOADED TO NEEDS ON MY DESK NOTE WHEN THEY CAN BE REACHED AND HAVE VOICEMAIL SET UP ON THEIR PHONES. TRAVELERS WITHOUT VOICEMAIL SET UP WHEN A FACILITY REACHES OUT WILL BE REDIRECTED.
Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks (if scheduled/needed):
Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after
Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after
New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after
Non-billable orientation: 0hrs
Holiday 1.25%
Call, Call-back: 4/hr and 1.25%
Charge: 3/hr
NO OT rate will be the same as hourly pay
Local travelers (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) are not eligible for this need.
