What Youll Do
- Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Administer treatments including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
- Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
- Document all treatment sessions accurately in electronic health records
- Assist in patient and family education regarding physical disorders and rehabilitation plans
- Support the supervision and mentoring of students under licensed PT guidance
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay aligned with clinical protocols
What You Need
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Knowledge of rehabilitative procedures, documentation standards, and safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
