What Youll Do:
- Provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical disorders
- Administer procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and support devices
- Assess patient progress, communicate with supervising Occupational Therapist, and adjust treatments accordingly
- Document all treatments and patient responses in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Support and supervise students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities
- Adhere to professional practice acts and ethical standards
What You Need:
- Active State Licensure/Registration for Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Prior experience in long-term care or related setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow clinical guidelines
