What You’ll Do:
  • Provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical disorders
  • Administer procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and support devices
  • Assess patient progress, communicate with supervising Occupational Therapist, and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Document all treatments and patient responses in electronic health records
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Support and supervise students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities
  • Adhere to professional practice acts and ethical standards
What You Need:
  • Active State Licensure/Registration for Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Prior experience in long-term care or related setting preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow clinical guidelines
