What You’ll Do
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled therapy interventions under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, therapeutic exercises, and use of supportive devices
  • Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
  • Document all treatments and patient responses in accordance with regulations
  • Support patients and their families, providing education and consultation on cognitive and physical disorders
  • Participate in care conferences, training, and team meetings as required
  • Supervise and support students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
  • Adhere to professional practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics in daily practice

What You Need
  • Valid state licensure/registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation protocols
