What Youll Do- Provide rehabilitative, skilled therapy interventions under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, therapeutic exercises, and use of supportive devices
- Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
- Document all treatments and patient responses in accordance with regulations
- Support patients and their families, providing education and consultation on cognitive and physical disorders
- Participate in care conferences, training, and team meetings as required
- Supervise and support students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Adhere to professional practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics in daily practice
What You Need- Valid state licensure/registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation protocols
