Guaranteed Hours Policy: Therapy travelers are expected to proactively build and manage their caseloads using available patient referrals and treatment opportunities while meeting the facility s productivity expectations. Guaranteed hours apply when the traveler remains onsite and available to work, but the facility cannot provide sufficient patient volume or treatment opportunities to fulfill those hours. If a treatment session is missed or shortened, the traveler is expected to make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete the remaining treatment when clinically appropriate and consistent with the patient s plan of care, tolerance, and availability. Any barriers to completing treatment should be communicated to the facility s leadership. Staffing agencies must review these expectations with their clinicians before submission.
