What You’ll Do
  • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans following regulatory standards
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions such as ADL training, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices
  • Assess and document patient progress; modify treatment plans accordingly
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust services based on outcomes
  • Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
  • Prepare detailed discharge summaries and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions
  • Support and supervise occupational therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides
What You Need
  • Current Missouri Occupational Therapist license
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • At least 1 year of OT experience in a long-term care environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
