What Youll Do
- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop personalized care plans following regulatory and clinical standards
- Administer rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments
- Conduct ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities as part of the rehab plan
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments to optimize outcomes
- Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and health team members regarding treatment and progress
- Document all services and maintain accurate patient records in electronic systems
- Participate in care conferences, trainings, and meetings as required
What You Need
Required:- Active Massachusetts OT license
- NBCOT certification
- Minimum 8 hours of relevant clinical practice
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred:- Experience with cognitive and ADL disorders in a long-term care setting
- Ability to supervise OT assistants and students
