What Youll Do
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures with high-quality results
- Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address concerns to ensure patient comfort and confidence
- Operate and maintain all nuclear imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality
- Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes within scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Complete all documentation, logs, and records accurately in paper and electronic formats
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance procedures
- Assist other radiology areas as needed
What You Need
- Valid licensure or certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (if required by state)
- Prior experience performing nuclear medicine imaging (preferred)
- Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures
- Excellent patient communication skills
