MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA) – FLOAT / CLINIC
We are seeking an experienced and certified Medical Assistant (MA) to support a busy physician office and provide quality patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient daily office operations.
Obtain vital signs and gather pertinent patient medical history.
Prepare and educate patients for office procedures.
Assist with specimen collection and preparation.
Collect required informed consent forms and prepare surgical packets.
Administer injections under the direct supervision of the physician.
Communicate test results and recommended plans of care as directed by the physician.
Provide professional, compassionate care to patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
Active Medical Assistant Certification required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
Previous travel experience highly preferred.
Travelers must have reliable transportation for the duration of the assignment.
