What You’ll Do:
  • Observe residents continuously, noting changes in mental and physical health
  • Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders
  • Administer medications and treatments, documenting via electronic systems
  • Supervise and assist Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in resident care
  • Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Monitor and maintain infection control practices and unit safety
  • Communicate regularly with residents’ families and team members
  • Manage medication storage, documentation, and controlled substance counts
  • Support staff onboarding, training, and ongoing education

What You Need:
Required:
  • NH Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Prior experience in long-term care preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:
  • Experience supervising LNAs
  • Knowledge of electronic health records and medication management

This position is based at a well-regarded long-term care facility in Claremont, NH, approximately two hours from Boston, MA.
