Description: The
HR Business Partner proactively partners with business unit leaders promoting a positive labor and team member relations climate. Investigates, manages and resolves workplace issues in cooperation with leadership. Assesses and anticipates HR related needs. Serves as HR resources for leaders and team members regarding all business issues and initiatives related to human resources. Ensures effective delivery of HR services.
Accountabilities:
- Advises on policies, procedures, labor contracts and employment related laws to team members and leaders.
- Partners with leaders to deliver consistent HR best practice anchored in kindness, dignity and respect.
- Coaches employees and leaders on performance improvement and conduct related matters.
- Conducts intakes on team member or leader concerns.
- Partners with HRBP Sr. on leader related performance concerns.
- Reviews and provides coaching on performance improvement documentation prior to being delivered, ensuring consistency and best practice.
- May participate in accommodation conversations and leads religious accommodation requests.
- Responds to unemployment claims and participates in unemployment hearings.
- Manages the intake of performance improvement documents ensuring they are added to the appropriate data base.
