Job Summary
A Financial Center Teller provides clients with high quality, prompt, and professional financial services. Responsible for interacting with clients and providing exceptional service by greeting them as they enter the financial center and providing them with the quick and efficient services. This role will process financial transactions in an accurate, efficient, and friendly manner while maintaining operational standards.
Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet clients promptly in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner upon entry into the financial center. Deliver accurate, efficient, and high-quality service while maintaining positive client experience. Answer incoming telephone calls, provide account-related information within authorized guidelines, and route inquiries to appropriate team members when necessary. Respond to client questions, resolve routine service requests, and identify when escalation or referral is required. Process client financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to:
Deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing
Loan payments and account transfers
Issuance of official checks and money orders
General ledger transaction processing
Wire transfer data entry and processing
Accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and required regulatory documentation
Always maintain proper cash controls in accordance with established bank procedures and security standards. Buy and sell cash to and from the vault as needed while ensuring established cash limits are maintained. Balance daily cash drawer, negotiable instruments, and processed transactions to ensure accuracy and reconciliation with system totals. Record and verify transactional totals within bank systems to maintain accurate financial records. Adhere to operational procedures designed to mitigate risk and safeguard bank assets.
Complete all required compliance, regulatory, operational, and job-related training within established deadlines. Support Private Client Group and other internal business partners with client servicing or operational tasks as needed. Provide coverage and operational assistance at alternate financial center locations based on business needs. Participate in team meetings, procedural updates, and ongoing professional development activities.
