Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills
- Hands-on experience with data teleoperations, robotics operations, robot-assisted data collection, industrial
automation, or closely related activities.
- Experience working with camera-based systems, including checking camera setup, hardware connections, and overall
system readiness.
- Working knowledge of Linux command-line tools and the ability to follow documented startup and recovery
procedures.
- Ability to operate technical software and teleoperations GUI interfaces while monitoring a physical robotic system.
- Strong awareness of robotics and operational safety.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Docker container and service operation and monitoring.
- FANUC robot experience.
- Experience in a robotics laboratory, manufacturing facility, test facility, or a similar safety-sensitive technical
environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work an approximately eight-hour on-site shift during the overnight operating window of 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM in
Mountain View, California, based on the assigned schedule.
- Prepare and validate camera, teleoperations, and connected systems before each session.
- Launch the teleoperations GUI using Linux commands, execute tasks, and monitor robot performance.
- Support pick-and-place operations, including scene setup, object repositioning, task reruns, and recovery using the
FANUC teach pendant.
- Monitor and troubleshoot robot, camera, hardware, software, connectivity, safety, and data-quality issues, escalating
recurring problems as needed.
- Accurately document task outcomes, failures, resets, and robot observations.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, data-collection protocols, operating procedures, and shift handoffs.
Generic Managerial Skills
- Clear communication with engineers and operators.
- Accurate technical documentation.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
